Although we talk about value a lot on these pages many bettors still fail although they have consistently placed value bets.
The problem is that a lot of the best value bets are at higher prices with low strike rates.
This can mean that long losing runs are experienced. So even though good bets are made that bettors can become demoralised by the losing runs.
The solution to this problem is to find value bets at shorter prices which will give a higher strike rate.
One avenue to explore is football betting where there are a lot of markets that have just two or three possible outcomes.
Of course if there are only two possible outcomes then your chance of finding the winning outcome is increased and if you can find value bets in these markets then profit is assured.
