Puzzle It Out

Good morning all,

With so little action at present, and the threat of losing Leicester now looming as well, I was at a loss for something to write about today so last night made up a few anagrams for you all to solve over your morning coffee.

They are all racetracks around the world – some trickier than others. Some dispute in the house as to whether No. 5 is actually called this anymore – you'll know what I mean if you solve it. No prizes, just the satisfaction of solving them. Answers tomorrow! Good luck!

  2. Work And Pans
  3. Mom Croons
  4. Paypal Levy, H
  5. Clamp On GH
  6. Carpet On, F.T
  7. May Pawn D's Boat
  8. Bend And A Be
  9. Front Tie Fun
  10. P.S New Moods

Two seconds this week, which is a bit frustrating, and I'm still trying to work out how Cosmelli got beat after trading 1-10 in the run yesterday. In the hope Leicester goes ahead, I like the chance of Alfstar in the hunter chase at 4.30, he has some really good point form to his name – a defeat of the classy Optimised last time out at Bangor, and a second to the useful Garde Ville last year – and he won't mind heavy ground at all. 6-1 available looks more than fair to me.

I side with whoever thinks no. 5 is not the current official name. Without giving it all away the correct name has the country’s capital city as a prefix.
