Good morning all,
The rain has scuppered this morning's article as I'd done the Uttoxeter card for the Life yesterday, and was going to do a Colossus or two for the meet and go through the races on today's piece.
Sadly, with Uttoxeter off, that's now not happening, so for the first time in a while, I've not got anything for you today, except my new selection from Nottingham. What I have done, as I know some of you were asking again last week, is to put the process for joining Colossus Bets up, so you can join in the next time I do one (which may well be at the weekend).
Apologies then, but I'll be back tomorrow with a rundown of that York card, which looks decent.
Process for joining Colossus Bets
- Go to https://www.colossusbets.com/pools/list where, in the top right hand corner, you'll see the “join” button next to the login one.
- Next step is to enter your email. Once that's done, go to the next step which asks you your personal details.
- On the final screen, choose your username and password, and it will also ask you for password confirmation. There's then a security question to answer and if you so wish, we can both get a Free Play token if you use “TENEMBASSY” in the “Bonus/Referral Code” box. Full disclosure here – if you go on and spend a tenner on the website at any time, I get a tenner as well.
- And that's it. When I post a new Colossus bet up, it'll appear under the “Racing” tab towards the left hand side of the screen. From there you'll see all the relevant markets. I'll always tell you which one I'm in, and then you simply need to go into the “syndicates” tab for that market (usually in blue, just click into it). You can put as much or as little as you like into them. Easy!
There's not many that will like the ground in the sprint at 3.15 at Nottingham this afternoon but one that definitely will is Alaadel, who can't have it soft enough and it's a question of whether he's ready to go after his winter break. To that end, I suppose it's encouraging that he won first time up as a 4yo and ran very respectably on his seasonal debut last year. He's got some pace near him to track as well, and he ought to close if he's fit.
Good luck with all your bets today,
