It turns out that the weird video on Saturday was a teaser for a main feature, there will be no acting awards for these guys but it did make me laugh!

This week’s top ten tipsters table produced by On Course Profits magazine has a new Number One and with Ascot having been the principle meeting this past week, a number of new services and some familiar faces seem to have fared well.

The number of selections may be few and the strike rate relatively low in comparison to other services, however, when the winners do come in they tend to come in big!

Bet Alchemist is a service which concentrates on the bigger races and therefore the majority of betting is done over the weekend and at the big meetings. Andy Bell’s service looks to provide selections at advised early odds so you need to be available to act quickly to achieve the prices quoted. It is another service which over the Ascot week performed well with winners from Solow 13/8, Gm Hopkins 12/1, Waterloo Bridge 20/1 and Balios 11/2.

Dropping two places we have the Bet Pro Club. They have still produced winners this past week with Acapulco 5/1, Curvy 7/1, Illuminate 4/1 and Ervedya 9/2. June has been a respectable month for The Bet Pro Club.

Retiree “Norman” is the man behind the Race Bet Formula which is a new entrant this week and he offers a daily tipping service. He uses a speed ratings formula to select his tips for the day. Racing Consultants continues to be our consistent performer. June started very well and there was a dip in performance during Ascot but they pulled themselves back up heading in a positive direction on the last day of the meeting with Son Of Africa 6/1 and Direct Times 9/4. With another week to go we hope to see them recover completely ending the month on a high.

Lucky 7 Naps have re-entered the table this week at the number 10 spot. An ROI of 11% is still a healthy return on your money. Winners have been relatively short priced but a modest profit is better than no profit.
