Trainer Trends Selections

Today we have a guest post from Mark Foley who writes for the Betting School Insiders Club and is the brains behind the Trainer Trends service.

Mark assesses all the runners that have been highlighted by his Trainer Trends for October that run today and recommends that three of them be bet…

There are 3 recommendations today:

Mumeyez 2.00 Salisbury (Skybet Bet 365 4/1)
Ronaldinho 7.40 Kempton (7/2 Bet 365)
Ukrainian 8.10 Kempton 5/2 Bet 365, Powers, Ladbrokes)
=======================================================

Mumeyez 2.00 Salisbury

Two starts in 7f maidens in August, mid-division at Doncaster then third of 14 at Kempton; likely more will be needed back on turf but that´s not impossible as he still seemed green last time and is bred to be well suited by 1m+; one of the stronger contenders of those with experience.

John Gosden 2 yo male runners racing over 7f or further returning within 42 days.
Priced 9/1 or less

Key Gold 4.50 Newcastle (7/1 Bet365, Powers)

Two-time 1m4f winner this year (good to soft and firm), most recently at Beverley in July; twice come up short from this mark subsequently, but well worth a try at this trip, being a half-sister to Keenes Day, a 2m winner for the yard; soft ground the concern.

Mark Johnston 3 yo runners in 3 yo plus handicaps of 12f or further; Priced 9/1 or less
Runners in 12f races had a good record: 16f today.
Runners upped in Class had a good record: Dropped in class today.
Runners upped in distance had a good record: Up in dist today.

Last Fighter 5.00 Nottingham Non runner

90,000gns foal who is full-brother to multiple Group winner Halicarnassus and half-brother to five other winners; about 4l behind 77-rated winner when second of four on debut at Folkestone (7f, good to firm); will probably need to build on that effort but that´s quite possible.

Saeed Bin Suroor 3 yos runners not in handicaps
Runners at Nottingham had a good record.
Runners in 3 yo races had a very good record: 3 yo plus
The debutants had a good record: 2nd run.

==============================================
Ryan 9/1 Beautiful Day 5.20 Newcastle (11/1 BetVictor)

Well suited by Fibresand, winning twice at Southwell in December, and has often been well backed off lower turf mark this summer; has been unable to justify the support, however, and a bit to prove now back from 116-day break.
================================================
East Texas Red 5.30 Nottingham (7/1 Bet 365, BetVictor)

Close third on nursery debut at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) 13 days ago, despite taking too keen a hold in the early stages; yet to race on ground worse than good but might settle better in this bigger field and enters calculations.

Richard Hannon Runners in Nurseries who finished in the first 3 LTO. Priced 9/1 or less.

============================================
Magic Channel 5.30 Nottingham (15/2 Victor Chandler)

Made winning nursery debut at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) in July and latest staying-on second over 1m at Kempton suggests he´s worth a crack at today´s trip; seemed to handle easy ground reasonably well on second start.

Ukrainian 8.10 Kempton 5/2 Bet 365, Powers)

Hosed up when gaining third career win over 1m5f at Musselburgh on Sunday and very well treated under penalty if that form´s to be believed; probably no coincidence first-time visor did the trick there, however, as previous win in August was when sporting first-time blinkers and much depends on headgear working again back on AW

Mark Johnston 3 yo runners in 3 yo plus handicaps of 12f or further; Priced 9/1 or less

Runners in 12f races had a good record:12f today.
