Friday Night Winner

Good morning all,

I’ll be at Southwell tonight to see how their April experiment of racing right-handed goes. If it progresses as expected, maybe we’ll see it implemented for good, who knows?

Anyway, all I do know is that it’ll be freezing cold, so the winter gear is back out. I’ve had a look at the card and sorted four likely ones out for an each-way Lucky 15 to hopefully get the weekend off to a great start.

Cheltenham Five To Follow

Good morning all,

Delighted to say I recovered from the Covid just in time to get myself to Cheltenham last week. And what a week it was. I don't think I've ever seen anything as good as Constitution Hill for a long time and I was delighted he won. He's shown himself adaptable ground-wise now too, and it's becoming hard to find any chinks in his armour.

Anyway, here are the five I think are worth following – a couple for the near future and a couple long term. I really like the first one – he looks Albert Bartlett material all day long – so have a read on….

Midlands Grand National Day

Good morning all,

It's Uttoxeter's big day today and I'll be working away in the middle, which will be an unusual experience as I'm used to working in Tatts these days. The weather means it'll be busy busy busy, and business ought to be good, even in the Silver Ring.
