The Ultimate Profit Club is the latest service from the Bet Kudos stable and operates a dobbing service which selects around half a dozen horse race selections each day.

Selections are emailed out to you the evening before racing and the principle of the service is that you place a back bet with Betfair prior to the race off time and then, lay the horse off at a lower price once the race is in running, thus making a profitable trade and guaranteeing a profit.

The service does require you to either be at your pc to make the trade, or alternatively use a computer bot which can do this for you.

A computer bot will allow you to place a “stop loss” in order to cover yourself should the odds start moving in the wrong direction and lengthen. This is something which cannot be done easily in conjunction with the UPC approach on Betfair alone, and can be quite tricky to do manually.

There are a number of trading software packages out there, and for ease of use we can recommend Gruss. It is both reasonable priced and easy to use and the support is good too. The advantage of using a computer bot is that you can set everything up and let it do the work for you.

Everybody’s results are going to be different even using the same selections as the results will depend on the two sets of odds you manage to achieve and this is why you will not find a record of the services results on the website.

The sales blurb says that the author placed 444 bets over and 11 week period (a strike rate of just over 75%) which returned a profit of £7,231.00. In principle this sounds good but sadly there is no reference made to the level of stakes used to achieve these figures, nor to the suggested staking.

Dobbing, if the selection criteria are sound, should help to bring in a steady stream of accumulated but smaller profits over time and this therefore may well suit those of you who are methodically minded in your betting.
