Looking forward to working at Ascot next week already and I'm just starting to have a look at the cards. I might have a couple for the Hunt Cup later in the week after a first look at it, so if I decided they are worth an ante-post punt, I'll let you know.

The sun is out, I've got a (virtually) free day to myself so I'm going to do the Nottingham double header today – Colwick Park for the dogs this morning and then the long 200-yard walk to the racecourse afterwards. Should be fun!

The return of flat racing on the Turf is now almost upon us, and I'll be at Doncaster tomorrow to watch some significantly smaller horses than I'm used to seeing parading and racing.
