Lay Bet Profits is as it says a laying service and to date we have received 46 selections of which 7 were no bets as they were above the suggested Betfair SP limit of 8.00.
Of the remaining selections and advised bets the staking was to 2 or 3 points.
Overall we are showing a profit of a shade over 6 points after taking into account Betfair commissions at 5%.
The average lay prices of between 5.00 and 6.00 are a little disconcerting being higher than we would like, but we will continue to monitor and report back at a later date as to the level of success the service offers.
The review of Maximum Racing Profits, an information based service started in the middle of December and to the time of writing has produced 13 winners from 52 selections. This said we have only managed to achieve a profit of just over 1 point so there is nothing major to write home about at the moment particularly given our total stakes so far amount to 186 points! Considerable improvement is going to be needed here.
If you are familiar with geegeez.co.uk then you will probably have heard of the 1 a day Statpick which based on past results has been very profitable. The Statpicks service originates from the same guy but gives additional bets highlighted by his research.
We started the review on the 1st of January and so far we are pleased to report that things have been going well. This latest month though has been a little topsy turvy with 10 winners from 42 selections and a profit to advised prices of almost 7.75 points.
All of the bets are either 0.50 point each way or 1.00 point win and the return on investment is currently running at just over 18%. Advised prices are often difficult to achieve and our results are showing a profit of 3.25 points based on the prices we were able to take.
