250 points profit, Three Week Free Trial

Today I want to tell you about a very special service that I've been using to find a lot of winners recently and today you can try it for free for 21 days.

The numbers in the headline are from an actual live service called Stat of the Day. As the name suggests, this is a one-a-day service with a strong statistical background. Since it started in November 2011, the service has registered 292 wins from 1031 bets (better than 28% winners), and has returned a profit for its readers of £2,505 to £10 level stakes.

Those aren’t fictional figures either. Rather, every single bet has been recorded and tracked on site… and followed and backed by over 650 loyal members.

Anyway, like I said, I’m telling you about it today because you can put this brilliant info to work for you for the next three weeks, gratis.Continue Reading

Yarmouth Selections

There's racing at Yarmouth today so it's time to pull out our Yarmouth Trainers system.

You'll remember that back in July we published a list of trainers that were profitable to follow at Yarmouth.

Since we created that system it has had…

Bets = 41
Wins = 11
Strike Rate = 26.8
Profit at iSP = 21.13
ROI = 50.3%

Which is pretty impressive.

You can see the original article here http://dailypunt.com/profitable-yarmouth-trainers/

Today these trainers have the following runners…

14:30:00 Deep Blue Sea
14:30:00 Imtiyaaz (IRE)
14:30:00 Nouveau Foret
15:00:00 Edge of Love
15:00:00 MuffriHa (IRE)
15:00:00 Queens Pearl (IRE)
15:30:00 Mr Shekells
16:00:00 Barwah (USA)
16:30:00 Kinshasa
17:00:00 Rosslyn Castle
17:00:00 Wannabe Your Man
17:30:00 Rex Imperator
17:30:00 Royal Rock
18:00:00 Vodka Chaser (IRE)

As you can see a lot of qualifiers and some races have three qualifiers.

I'll let you decide what to do with them, you could dutch the races with multiple selections. You could add your own analysis to select just one horse in those races.

But as this is a new under test approach whatever you decide keep your stakes small.

By the way one guy who takes the trainer based system approach and does extremely well is Ed Turner at http://winningtrends.co.uk he is 37 points up so far this month using this type of system and only charges £20 per month.

Norfolk Stakes Tip

Flat RacingNick Hardman of Betting Insiders hit the bar with yesterdays selection only managing to finish second.

He's back today with his assessment of the Norfolk Stakes.

2.30pm Norfolk Stakes

Only 9 go to post in this 5f Group 2 sprint and Aiden O’Brien’s The Great War looks the one to beat.

He is 2 from 2 and yet to come off the bridle and any improvement for the quicker ground and he will probably takes this. However, it’s always worth assessing the other runners even with such a strong favourite.

Mukhmal is also 2 from 2, the latter of those wins from a wide draw at Chester and that takes some doing. Baitha Alga is a serious prospect and is dropped in trip here having form figures of 211 all over 6f.

USA raider To Be Determined could be anything but he won’t have been brought all the way over here to simply make up the numbers. Racing Post top speed figures put The Great War and Mukhmal ahead of the other runners and they also top the Racing Post ratings at 111 and 112 respectively.

If you fancy short price favourite The Great War (and a lot of racing pundits do) then take the 11/10 with William Hill and their insurance for second place. I think this might be closer than people think and @6/1 I rate Mukhmal as a lively each-way alternative to the favourite.

Hutching Profits

Following from yesterdays introduction to Dutching, today I want to tell you about Hutching and the Oddschecker Hutching calculator.

The Hutching calculator can be used like the Dutching calculator but instead of taking an equal profit whichever of your selections win. You can instead bias your bet towards a particular outcome.

So you could take all your profit from what you consider to be the most likely outcome and break even on other selected outcomes.

Chelsea are 1.19 to beat West Ham tonight, so as an example let's look at a similar bet to yesterdays Man U example.

The prices for 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 & 4-0 are 9.6, 7.2, 8.2, 11.5.

By adjusting our stakes we can pretty much break even on 1-0, 3-0 & 4-0 and take a profit of £38.60 on 2-0, for a total stake of £10.

If we've judged things correctly then that return compares favourably with the £1.90 profit from a straight win bet.

The image below shows the calculator and the stakes required.

The trouble with this calculator is that you have to manually play around with the stakes to get your desired result.

And if all your bets were in the same market, then its probably just as easy to do this directly into Betfair. But in this case our bets are spread across 2 markets.

Nevertheless this is a a useful way to frame bets to get better value and to bias bets towards what you consider to be the most likely outcomes.
