Multiple Bets

I've never been one for multiple bets!

I suppose the lower strike rate puts me off and the general feeling that they are mug bets, loved by bookmakers.

I've always known that if you have value bets that you multiply the value with a multiple bet, but I've never been tempted until recently.

The reason I'm into them now is because a couple of the tipping services here have been using each way Doubles and Trixies to great effect.

These guys have been hitting a good few wins and when they come off these bets pay big 🙂

Here's an example double from Gary Poole's Bookies Enemy No1 service…

Epson Hill – Won 13/2

Online Alexander – Won 9/1

Paid £814.40 for £20 staked (£10 eachway double)

Here's another from Gary where they all placed second, but the bet still made a great return…

American Hope – 2nd 10/1

Gold Dream – 2nd 14/1

Don't Bother Me – 2nd 22/1

Paid £404.50 for £40 staked (£5 eachway trixie)

And it's not just Bookies Enemy that is exploiting these bets. The Racing Consultants know the power of the eachway multiple.

Here's one of theirs that was nearly massive but still won big with two wins and a place…

Slade Power – Won 4/1

Baccarat – Won 12/1

Toscanini – 2nd 11/2

Paid 497.50 for £40 staked (£5 eachway trixie)

If you want to be involved with bets like these the easiest way is to join one of these services and profit from their hard work.

But if you don't like paying for tipsters then there is an excellent article in the February On Course Profit mag that explains how to do it for yourself.

Today's Selection

14:05 Thurles Down Ace – win bet – 13/8 Betway

5/1 Selection Today

I hope you had a little bet on Hernando Torres yesterday and got the 11/2 that was available when I mailed you.

Even better than that I hope you joined Gary for the full Trixie!

The other two selections both placed and overall 19.78 points were made by members to advised prices, with SP producing over 10 points profit on the day.

There's still time to join Gary at http://bookiesenemyno1.com

Today I've snaffled you a selection from another top tipping service to see if I can repeat the feat.

The Racing Consultants is the joint name of the team that is David Massey and Rory Delargy.

These guys are proper old school form students and know the form book inside and out.

Since they started sharing their tips back in June last year they haven't had a losing month.

They have three bets for today's racing and the one I've taken is a 5/1 shot in a 6 runner race…

Sedgefield 2.30 – 2m1f Handicap Hurdle (class 3)

The last time James Ewart’s UN GUET APENS saw Sedgefield was in a handicap chase just over a year ago. On that occasion he jumped well and never gave his supporters  a moment’s worry, coming right away from three out.

He improved on that when beating the 130 rated Supreme Asset at Carlisle in April, which saw his rating go to 133 over fences. There have been excuses for two of his three runs since then, as they were over a trip that looks too far (and the cheekpieces he seems to need were missing on one occasion too), but if judging him on the run in between, when getting beaten a short head by Indian Voyage back at Carlisle off 132, it’s not difficult to see he’s well handicapped today back over hurdles on a mark of 128.

With trip, ground and track all ideal, and the cheekpieces returning,  there seems little reason why he shouldn’t run his race.

2.30 Sedgefield – 1pt win Un Guet Apens (5-1 Hills, Bet365, Corals)

11/2 All Weather Bet

Today I've grabbed you a selection from Gary Poole's Bookies Enemy No 1 service.

Gary is an ace at spotting the value in the early markets and locking in value for himself and his members.

This selection was given out last night when it was generally available at 13/2, since then the bookies have woken up to the chances of this one and shortened it in to 11/2 where it still represents a bit of value.

Gary is a race watcher, an activity that requires great skill and a lot of time and that's what he dedicates his life to.

He is also a player of multiple bets and has bagged some huge profit days with his Trixies, Trebles and Doubles.

In fact he has a Trixie on his service today with this selection and two others priced at 8/1 and 9/1.

If this one comes off it will win £900 for every pound staked.

You can get immediate access to the other two selections when you join Gary at http://bookiesenemyno1.com

Here's the bet I've grabbed for you today with Gary's reasoning…

3.20 Wolverhampton:Hernando Torres

Ran an eye-catching race here two starts back in a better race than this on his first start since June and a repeat of that effort here should see him go very close. He has since had an outing over hurdles which will insure he's primed since that October run and although he's only run 2 of his 34 races he is still relatively unexposed on the all-weather and last run over C&D suggested there is plenty more to come.

Big Profit from Multiples

Do you bet in multiples?

Doubles, trebles or acca's (accumulators)?

I have always been of the opinion that these types of bets are just for the bookies benefit and have always avoided them, even though there is a promise of huge profits if they come off.

I do remember a few years back reading an article about how if you are making value bets, if you combine them into doubles or trebles that you magnify the advantage that you have because the value multiplies. But that didnt change my methods.

The results from yesterday's Racing Consultants tips have caused me to think again.

Yesterday they gave three selections to be combined into a half point each way Trixie.

A Trixie is 3 doubles (eachway doubles in this case) and a treble, so four bets.

The guys managed to land 2 of the bets, the advised prices were 6/1 and 9/1 (there was a 10p rule 4 on the 6/1)

A £5 eachway Trixie where only two of the horses won paid £376, which is a £336 profit!

That's a big return from getting just two bets home.

But the thing that really surprised me is that if they had got all three home the return would have been £5,620 for a £40 outlay.

(The non runner was 11/1)

I need to re-think my betting and staking strategy.

Do you bet in multiples? Tell me in the comments, if you've had any big wins tell me that also.
