It’s Day 2 of Royal Ascot and inside today’s main piece you’ll find my Wednesday Royal Ascot Placepot suggestions.
Royal Ascot – Day 1
The Prince of Wales's Stakes (4.25) is the highlight on day two of Royal Ascot with last season's Derby hero Auguste Rodin takes on smart mare Inspiral who missed Tuesday’s Queen Anne Stakes to come here.
The other highlights on Day 2 are the Group 2 Queen’s Vase (3:05) and the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes (2.30) the first race for the juvenile fillies at the meeting. The Royal Hunt Cup (5:05) is the first of two handicaps on the card and the cavalry charge over the straight mile is one of the weeks big betting races.

Competitive races and plenty of value betting opportunities If you’re not excited about today’s card, I’m not sure horse racing is for you.
No winners for me on Day 1 but places at 25/1 x 2 and 33/1 to ensure a profit was made and a nice return on investmentt.
After a relatively quiet day on the punting front on Day 1. I'm getting more heavily involved on Wednesday Royal Ascot card.
