19th April 2013. The day I arrived as a tipster.

I had been working for various outlets before that – Sporting Life, Non League Paper, Betfair – as a non league football and women’s tennis betting correspondent. All the time my heart beat on the turf and I’d started a private subscription electronic daily tipping sheet called the Bozmail in which I published my first efforts at tipping horses.

Like most tipsters, I used a combination of form study, observation, race reading and system devising to come up with my daily copy.

It was the latter that struck gold for me.The devising of a system called the ‘shortlist through the card permed accumulator’.

Leicester Review

Good morning all,

Managed to squeeze in half an afternoon's entertainment at Leicester yesterday before coming back home to finish off a few more jobs. As such, the first two races on yesterday's card, the novices contests, are written up on the main piece, with one or two to go into trackers.

I haven't had chance to look at Doncaster today, but I will for the rest of the week, so will do some previews as the week progresses.

Time On My Hands

Good morning all,

I'm into a very quiet time of the year for me – no work on the tracks until a week Saturday, just a few Sporting Life cards to do and until the Yarmouth Autumn Festival comes around, not a lot of racing to go and watch either! I will try and squeeze a few fixtures in but for the time being, seeing as I have done today's Lingfield card for the Life, I shall try a Colossus or two for us to take part in. I'll put them up at 11am sharp, so if you want to get involved, you know when!
