A simple dutching idea has 4 out of 5 winners yesterday…

I must admit I have never been a great fan of combining multiple selections into one type of bet.

I have played around with “Yankees” and “Multiples” but never really got into it in a big way.

In the past I have used “Dutch” bets (which is why the auto dutching feature) was originally added to the GHBot…

But that was quite a while ago.

Then the other day while doing a pretty big update to one of the GHBot bonuses I noticed something really interesting.

Back in 2014 I created some ratings that I put together on a “Race Card” type page that I called the “Place Ratings”.

I was very interested in the Betfair place market (still am) and I felt the ratings worked well at selecting possible place winners.

Over the last couple of years I have added new features and some updates when I felt they would be useful.

But I wasn’t totally happy with the way it worked.

So I decided to “revamp” (A favourite word of mine) it and make it better.

I have also noticed over the last couple of years that some of the ratings have been useful for finding winners on the main markets.

Which led me to change the name from “Place Ratings” to “PR ratings” (We all know how good I am at naming things).

The new updates include:

Selection filters. (Which allow you to cut down on the number of runners you see on the race card)

Information filters. (You can change the amount of information you see on the screen)

GHBot link. (You can automatically get the selections daily based on the selection filters you choose.)

This is just the beginning of the updates. Over the coming weeks I will be introducing new form elements…

…And I am even looking at a way of creating your own “Green Rating” base on the criteria you think is important.

Ok, so what about the “Dutch” system?

Well while making these changes and testing the filters I came across a “4 horse dutching” idea.

Even yesterday the system (if you can call it that) had 4 out of 5 successful “dutch” bets.

I am sure there is room for improving what I came up with.
