If you have ambitions to become a successful bettor through finding your own selections, and finding them yourself is the most profitable way to go simply because you can get the best prices, then I would suggest that you use the trends that Josh posts up each week and try and determine the best bet yourself.

Then when Saturday comes compare your selection with Josh' and of course after the race compare your performance with Josh'.

The skill is in interpreting the trends, not in collecting them, if you get good at interpreting the trends you will be successful in your betting.
