Amateur Jockey System

We have a new Saturday columnist, one I'm quite excited about and someone who I think will teach us winning methods and point us at some winners.

Introducing Peter Hawkeye from http://www.hawkeyetips.com/, this is the guy who tipped the 33/1 winner earlier in the week. (By the way he has 2 big priced selections today)

Over to Peter…

York 2.05

In these amateur races I like to see how many rides the amateurs have through the course of the last two weeks.

This is a good indicator that the rider will be race fit and that connections think that the rider is capable enough to do the rides justice .

Race fitness is a big factor with the amateur riders and over in the States bug riders as they are called are more or less rated on the amount of rides they get ,as the good ones get plenty and the poor ones don’t.

The one rider that stands out is Miss S Brotherton in this race with 4 rides and 1 win.

She rides Pear Castle.

The next best is Miss Joanna Masson with 3 rides and 0 wins.

She rides Warlu Way.

Hopefully these two can fight out the finish today.
