Daily Punt Home - Cesarewitch Selection

Cesarewitch Selection

I don't think there is any doubt among readers here that my favourite big priced tipster is Carl Nicholoson from Value Backing.

Of course we can't expect big priced horses to win every time, but Carl has a value selection for the Cesarewitch and I will be on it.

Here's what Carl told his Value Backing Extra members…

The Cesarewitch 3.35 Newmarket is where I am going for a selection this weekend.

I do think Countrywide Flame is still well handicapped given his exploits over hurdles, but the value has well and truly gone at today`s prices. One with a similar sort of progressive profile as the horse just mentioned is Cry For The Moon.

His flat mark has been well protected by his ex jockey trainer who knows the time of day with these sorts.

His run last time out at Leopardstown is much better than it looks first hand as he was never put in the race at any stage and was only beaten 6l or so by I Have A Dream come the line (who is to the fore of this market).

I fancy the selection to turn the form around over this extra distance and you only have to take a brief look at that Leopardstown race to see that a few winners have come from in it including Domination ( had a similar profile to our selection)who bolted up in a competitive handicap at Newmarket last month to realize it is strong staying form.

Cry For The Moon is available at 33`1 with most firms BOG and makes for a decent 1/4 pt ew bet.
